Baojun Wang, male, 39y, M.D., Urologist, Associated chief physician of PLA general hospital.

Studied under professor Xu Zhang, the founders of urology laparoscopic surgery in China. Proficient in a number of laparoscopic and robotic technology, including: adrenal surgery, nephron sparing surgery for complex renal tumor, renal pelvis and ureter reimplantation surgery and radical resection of the bladder, prostate and etc. And especially good at laparoscopic and robotic nephron sparing surgery for complex renal tumor.

Undertaken two projects of the national natural science foundation. Participate in 1 project of the national high-tech research and development plan (863 project) and 1 project of the national science outstanding youth fund. Won one second prize of national science and technology progress award (2013-7) and three provincial and ministerial-level science and technology achievements award (2006-6, 2008-7, 2011-6). As first author, published 13 pieces of SCI papers, two of which was published in European Urology (IF:16.265 points), including one paper was the cover article of European Urology. Won the 2013 video competition on renal potential in China. In 2014, 2015, 2017, and 2018 live surgery of urology laparoscopic and robotic conferences sponsored by the department of the people’s liberation army general hospital demonstrated respectively laparoscopic adrenal gland surgery, laparoscopic partial nephrectomy and robotic laparoscopic partial nephrectomy (twice, once for complex renal tumor). Laparoscopic surgery has been demonstrated many times in domestic academic conferences. In 2016, the third prize was awarded once.
